The Best of BEST 10th Anniversary Edition 2026

Senior leaders, staff, students and parents have discovered the benefits to their wellbeing, resilience and performance through a range of learning opportunities with BEST. Of the 200+ staff and leaders who completed foundation programmes, 20 were inspired to train to teach mindfulness curricula in classrooms in seven schools, reaching over 2,000 students. Mindfulness at the Heart of BEST “It promotes better focus, communication and resilience and helps enhance empathy for others … something the world could do with more and more.” Mindfulness Staff Tutor 25 We offer FREE online Parent Mindfulness programmes throughout the year, run by Will George, which have proved to be a great success: “These sessions have supported me to stay calmer and more present in my role as a mum. I respond to challenges with more patience and understanding… truly listen and connect with my daughter.” Wellbeing Week June 2026 Our full trust community came together in June for a week of wellbeing activities for staff, students and families. Fromwishing trees to art workshops, yoga, shared meals, acts of kindness and gratitude. Thank you to Will George and the Wellbeing Leads for organising and to everyone who took part, it was a great success! Alongside the annual Wellbeing Week celebrations, the Wellbeing Gardens in each BEST school also contribute to BEST’s deep commitment to supporting the health and happiness of its community.
