BEST has gifted a silver birch tree to each of the schools and nurseries in the trust, as the celebrations continue for the 10th anniversary. 

The Silver Birch is a much-loved native tree with its distinctive bright white bark and light canopy. It is a perfect gift to mark growth, resilience and new beginnings.Students and staff from each school enjoyed planting the trees and they were joined also by governors and members of the BEST Leadership team, including the CEO Dr Alan Lee and the Chair of Governors, Ilona Bond. 

The planting of the same tree across all of our schools and nurseries has created a shared symbol of growth, while allowing each setting to nurture its own tree. With our many thanks to Mrs Alison Wilshaw, Director of Education, for organising the celebratory event.
