In accordance with the statutory requirements set out in the School Admissions Code, we are opening a six-week public consultation, starting today October 1st 2026, on proposed changes to our admission arrangements for the 2028/29 academic year (September 2028 entry).

The proposed changes are outlined below:

Pix Brook Academy

• Reduction of Year 5 PAN: Reduction of the Published Admission Number (PAN) from 180 to 150, reflecting school organisational changes in the local area.

Samuel Whitbread Academy

• New Year 7 Point of Entry from 2028: Addition of a Year 7 point of entry with a Published Admission Number (PAN) of 90.
• Reduction of Year 9 PAN: Reduction of the Year 9 PAN from 380 to 360.
• Oversubscription Criteria: Amendment of the oversubscription criteria for the Year 9 point of entry.
